As in previous years, the MSCN Film Music Festivals Academy—a mentoring and career acceleration programme—will return in 2027. This programme is organised in collaboration with Soundtrack_Cologne (Germany), Soundtrack_Zurich (Switzerland), Festival du Film d’Aubagne (France), the Krakow Film Music Festival (Poland), and Harpa Film Music Days/Berlin International Film Festival (Germany), and is held in partnership with MOTU Digital Performer and Crush Percussion.
In addition, there is the Budapest Summer Film Music Conducting Workshop, which will take place from 26–29 August 2027 at Pannonia Sound Studios in Budapest, Hungary. This workshop features Jonathan Brett, Dr. Yati Durant, and the Pannonia Film Orchestra Budapest; it is organised in collaboration with the Conductors Academy, with support from partners MOTU Digital Performer and Crush Percussion.
