In this video, Aisling Brouwer talks about the organic development of Avawaves, the collaboration with Anna Phoebe, violinist. Composing film scores together was in fact the merging of two worlds: Aisling's as a film composer and Anna's as a live performing artist. The video provides the necessary insight into the creative process of two collaborating composers/performers. It starts with jamming together in the studio, from which the first material for the score emerges. Then there is a creative interaction that leads to the final film score.
