Aisling Brouwer - the score for Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story

Aisling Brouwer scored the film Lioness, a film about the female boxing champion Nicola Adams (2 x Olympic gold and World Championship). She based the score on Nicola's rhythmic punches, which were recorded especially for this film in a studio in Leeds. Aisling explains how she developed the score from this material in combination with the manipulated recordings of a cello. The film's opening credits including Aisling's music are also shown in this insightful video!
