Minco Eggersman - An idiosyncratic composer (part 1)

In this video Minco talks about the start of his musical career (the snare drum was his first instrument) and his work as a film composer. He has already worked with the Dutch director Jaap van Heusden in about ten films, but directors in Eastern Europe also know where to find him. Most likely because Minco's music is often melancholic in tone, minimal and very sound-oriented.

In addition, a number of other interesting subjects are discussed in this video, such as working as an autodidact, and leaving 'mistakes' in music.

In this Private Kitchen series our host Alexa Rodrigues visits Minco Eggersman “in the studio”. In a series of 5 interviews, we bring you short stories from Klankzicht Studio in Terwolde. Follow instagram for upcoming releases!
